Description

The stone top extends to seat six when friends stay for dinner, then contracts back to a four-person footprint for weeknight meals. The mechanism slides smoothly without pinching fingers or requiring two people to operate. A polished finish catches light without showing every fingerprint the way high-gloss lacquer does.

Stone resists heat marks and water rings better than veneer or solid wood — set down a warm serving dish or a sweating pitcher without hunting for a trivet. Wipe spills with a damp cloth; no special cleaners required. The pedestal base gives everyone legroom and eliminates the corner-leg trip hazard when you're carrying plates.

Works in open-plan kitchens where a rectangular table would block sightlines, or in square dining rooms where you need flexible seating. Chairs sold separately. Ships flat-packed with hardware included.
