At Lighom, we want you to love your purchase. We offer two clear types of returns to make sure you're protected.

30-Day Quality Guarantee

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from the description, we'll make it right at no cost to you.

Eligible within 30 days of delivery:

• Damaged or defective items
• Wrong item received
• Item differs significantly from product description
• Missing parts or accessories

What we'll do:

• Full refund OR free replacement (your choice)
• We pay return shipping
• No restocking fee
• Refund processed within 5–7 business days

How to claim:

1. Email service@lighom.com within 30 days of delivery
2. Include your order number and photos or video showing the issue
3. We'll respond within 24 hours with a prepaid return label

14-Day Change-of-Mind Returns

Changed your mind? No problem — return your item within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

• Item must be unused and in original packaging
• All accessories, manuals, and tags must be included
• Customer pays return shipping
• 15% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns (regardless of product category — covers inspection, repackaging, and return processing)

Not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

• ❌ Installed lighting fixtures (once hardwired or permanently mounted)
• ❌ Custom or made-to-order items
• ❌ Final Sale or Clearance items
• ❌ Items damaged after delivery
• ❌ Items without original packaging

How to return:

1. Email service@lighom.com within 14 days of delivery to request a return
2. Receive your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and our return address
3. Ship the item back in its original packaging using a tracked service (at your cost)
4. Once received and inspected, your refund (minus the 15% restocking fee) will be processed within 5–7 business days

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return and receiving an RMA number will not be accepted.

Inspect Before Installing

For lighting fixtures, please inspect carefully and test before permanent installation. Once a fixture has been hardwired or permanently mounted, it can no longer be returned for change-of-mind reasons (quality issues are still covered for 30 days).

💡 Pro tip: Plug in or temporarily mount your light before final wiring to make sure you love the look in your space.

Damages on Delivery

If your package arrives with visible damage:

1. Take photos before opening — this helps us process your claim faster
2. Open carefully and document any damage to the product
3. Email service@lighom.com within 48 hours of delivery
4. Keep all original packaging until your claim is resolved

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original (per the policy above) and place a new order. This ensures you receive the exact item you want without delay.

European Union — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a customer in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. To exercise this right:

• The item must be unused and in original packaging
• All accessories and tags must be included
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• Standard 15% restocking fee does not apply for EU customers exercising this statutory right

Refunds

We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and confirm whether your refund has been approved.

Refund timeframes:

• Credit card refunds: 3–5 business days
• PayPal refunds: 1–2 business days
• Bank transfers: 5–7 business days

The refund will go back to your original payment method. If more than 10 business days have passed since approval and you haven't received your refund, please first contact your bank or card issuer, then reach out to service@lighom.com.
