Accepted Payment Methods

Credit and Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal.

PayPal
Pay with your PayPal account or as a guest using a credit or debit card. PayPal Buyer Protection covers eligible purchases. To pay with PayPal, select PayPal at checkout and complete your payment on the PayPal page.

Apple Pay
Available on supported iOS devices and Safari browsers. Tap "Apple Pay" at checkout for one-touch payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

Google Pay

How Klarna Works
Choose Klarna at checkout, enter your details, and pay 25% today. The remaining 75% is automatically charged to your debit or credit card in three equal payments, every 2 weeks. You can manage all payments through the Klarna app. Late fees may apply if a payment fails.

How Afterpay Works
Choose Afterpay at checkout and create a free account if you don't already have one. Pay 25% upfront, then 25% every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. Manage payments and reschedule if needed through the Afterpay app. Late fees apply for missed payments.

Eligibility
Klarna and Afterpay are available for customers in supported countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and most EU countries). You must be at least 18 years old. Approval is subject to a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. Eligibility is determined at checkout.

How to Pay

Paying with PayPal
When you select PayPal at checkout, you'll be redirected to the PayPal payment page. Log in with your PayPal username and password to confirm your payment, or click "Pay with Debit/Credit Card" to check out as a guest.

Paying with Credit or Debit Card
Select "Credit Card" at checkout and click "Complete Order." You'll be directed to a secure payment page where you can enter your card number, expiration date, security code, and billing information. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your payment.

Paying with Apple Pay or Google Pay
If you're using a supported device, you'll see Apple Pay or Google Pay options at checkout. Tap the button and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device password to complete your payment instantly.

Paying with Klarna or Afterpay
Select Klarna or Afterpay at checkout. You'll be redirected to their secure payment page to enter your details and confirm the installment plan. Once approved, your order is placed immediately, and you'll receive a payment schedule by email.

 

Currency

Prices on lighom.com are displayed in US Dollars (USD) by default. If you're shopping from another country, your local currency may be displayed automatically based on your IP address. Final charges are processed in USD, and your bank may apply a small currency conversion fee.

 

Payment Security

Your payment information is protected by industry-leading security:

SSL Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our website is encrypted using 256-bit SSL.

PCI Compliance: Our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Afterpay) are PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security.

No Stored Card Data: Lighom does not store your full credit card numbers on our servers. Card details are securely handled by our payment providers.

3D Secure: For eligible cards, additional verification (such as Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode, or one-time SMS codes) may be required to confirm your identity.

 

When Will I Be Charged?

For credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal, your account is charged at the time of order placement.

For Klarna and Afterpay, an initial payment of 25% is charged at checkout. The remaining payments are scheduled automatically every 2 weeks until paid in full.

If your order is canceled (for example, if an item is out of stock), the charge will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-5 business days. For installment plans, any payments already made will be refunded, and remaining scheduled payments will be canceled.

 

Payment Issues

If your payment is declined, please:

1. Verify that your card details are entered correctly (number, expiration date, CVV, billing address).

2. Check that your card has sufficient funds and is authorized for international purchases (Lighom processes payments through Hong Kong).

3. Try a different payment method (PayPal, another card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, or Afterpay).

4. Contact your bank to confirm there are no holds or restrictions on your card.

For Klarna or Afterpay declines, eligibility is determined by the provider based on their internal criteria. If declined, please try a different payment method or contact Klarna or Afterpay directly.

Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successful, you'll receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes. If you don't see the email, please check your spam or promotions folder. If you still don't receive confirmation within 24 hours, contact us at service@lighom.com.

 

Refunds

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after a return is approved. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

For Klarna and Afterpay orders, refunds are processed through the original installment service. Any payments already made will be refunded, and any remaining scheduled payments will be canceled. See our Refund Policy for full details.
