Chaise ovale sans accoudoirs japonaise en bois

The oval seat spreads your weight across a wider surface than a round stool, so you can sit through a full meal without the edge digging into your thighs. This armless wood chair tucks all the way under a table or desk when you're done — no protruding arms to catch on the apron or block the aisle.

Solid wood frame and seat in a natural finish that shows the grain. The tall backrest follows Japanese joinery principles: straight verticals, minimal ornament, joints you can see. At 30.7 inches high and 17 inches wide, it fits four around a 48-inch table without shoulders touching.

Works in dining rooms, home offices, or as extra seating in a living room. Wipe with a dry cloth to protect the finish. Ships partially assembled.
