Minimalist Gray Smoke Slate Dining Table

The slate top weighs enough that you notice it when you set the table — a 55- or 63-inch rectangle on a black double-pedestal metal base that doesn't wobble when someone leans an elbow. Self-storing leaf extends the 55-inch version to 79 inches, the 63-inch to 94.5 inches, so you can seat eight without dragging a leaf out of the closet.

Stone surface in dark or light gray wipes clean and resists scratches better than wood veneer. The 30-inch standard height clears most dining chairs. Double pedestal leaves legroom open down the middle — no corner legs to navigate when you pull up a seventh seat.

Works in open-plan kitchens or formal dining rooms. Pairs with upholstered chairs, wood benches, or metal stools. Ships with partial assembly required; one-year limited warranty included.
