Contemporary Fabric Upholstered Rocking Chair
Description
The curved rockers let you settle into a gentle rhythm — forward for conversation, back when you're deep in a book. This fabric rocking chair sits 34.65 inches wide, compact enough for apartment corners but substantial enough to anchor a reading nook or nursery. Carbon steel frame underneath, cotton-filled seat on top, with a removable cushion you can shake out or spot-clean.
Six color options: orange, white, blue, pink, houndstooth, or brown. The fabric holds up to daily use better than linen (no pilling after a month of evening reading), and the footrest gives you somewhere to prop your feet without dragging over a separate ottoman. Protective feet keep hardwood and tile scratch-free.
Ships partially assembled — attach the rockers and cushion, about 20 minutes with the included hardware. Works in living rooms, bedrooms, or anywhere you need a seat that moves with you instead of against you.

Important for European Customers
If you choose Express Shipping to the UK, EU, or other European destinations, please be aware that customs duties and VAT can be substantial (often 20-25% of order value, plus handling fees).
For European orders, we strongly recommend Standard Shipping to avoid these charges. If you need faster delivery and decide to use Express, please factor in the additional customs costs when budgeting your purchase.

Tips for Smooth Shipping
To make sure your Lighom order arrives without any issues, please follow these tips before and after placing your order.
Before You Order
Provide a complete shipping address. Include apartment, unit, or building number — incomplete addresses are the most common cause of delivery failure.
Use a valid mobile phone number. Many carriers (especially DHL, FedEx, and local couriers) require a working phone number for delivery notifications. Orders without a phone number may be delayed or returned.
Use an email you check regularly. We send tracking updates, customs notices, and delivery alerts via email. Missing these can cause delays.
Choose the right shipping method. Standard (free) is best for non-urgent orders with no customs fees. Express (paid) is for urgent orders where customs fees apply.
Check product dimensions. Lighom products vary widely in size. Check the dimensions on each product page to make sure the item fits your space and delivery doorway, staircase, or elevator.
During Shipping
Track your order regularly. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking link by email. Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear after dispatch.
Respond to carrier contact attempts. If the carrier emails or texts you, respond promptly. Missed delivery attempts can result in the package being returned to the sender — and additional reshipping fees.
Be available on delivery day. Larger items (chandeliers, floor lamps, furniture) may require a signature. If you can't be home, arrange for a neighbor to receive the package or designate a safe drop-off location with the carrier.
When Your Package Arrives
Inspect the package before opening. If you see any visible damage to the box, take photos immediately before opening. This is essential for damage claims.
Check the contents within 48 hours. Open carefully, check for any defects or missing parts, and contact us at service@lighom.com within 48 hours if you notice any issues.
Keep the original packaging. Save all original packaging materials for at least 30 days. You'll need them in case you decide to return the item or if we need to process a damage claim.
Test before installing lighting fixtures. Plug in or temporarily mount your light before final wiring to confirm size, brightness, and finish. Once installed, change-of-mind returns are no longer accepted.
Important Notes
- PO Boxes: Standard shipping only. Express shipping requires a physical street address.
- Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We currently cannot deliver to military addresses — please use a stateside or civilian address.
- Remote areas: Some destinations may require additional delivery time. We'll contact you if this affects your order.
- Incorrect address: Unsuccessful deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information cannot be refunded. Re-shipping fees may apply.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Standard Shipping = No Customs Fees
Our standard shipping is fully duty-paid. You will not pay any customs duties, taxes, or import fees when your package arrives. The price at checkout is the final price.
Express Shipping = Customs Fees Apply
If you choose Express Shipping, customs fees may apply based on your country:
- USA: orders under $800 typically arrive duty-free
- Canada: orders under CAD $20 (gift) or CAD $40 (personal) duty-free
- EU: VAT and duties apply, can be 20-25% of order value
- UK: VAT applies on orders over £135
- Australia: GST applies on orders over AUD $1,000
Charges are assessed by your local customs authority and paid upon delivery. These fees are separate from your Lighom order total.

Common Questions
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Contact us within 24 hours of placing the order. Once your order ships, we cannot redirect it.
Can I split my order across multiple addresses?
Currently, each order ships to a single address. Please place separate orders for each destination.
Can I expedite my order after placing it?
Yes — contact service@lighom.com within 24 hours of ordering. We can upgrade you to Express Shipping if your order hasn't shipped yet (express fee applies).
What if I'm not home when delivery arrives?
Most carriers will leave a notice and attempt redelivery. You can also arrange a pickup at a nearby carrier facility using your tracking number.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship to over 40 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and select European countries. Enter your address at checkout to confirm we deliver to you.
What if my package is lost in transit?
Contact service@lighom.com if your package hasn't arrived within 5 business days of the expected delivery date. We'll investigate with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund if needed.
Will I be charged customs fees on Standard Shipping?
No — our standard shipping is duty-paid. You will not pay any customs fees on arrival.
How do I know my order has shipped?
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder.
Delivery Issues
Package not received after expected delivery date?
- Check tracking — sometimes the carrier marks "delivered" before the package physically arrives
- Check with neighbors and your local post office or customs office
- Wait 2-3 business days (most "missing" packages arrive in this window)
- If still missing, contact us at service@lighom.com within 30 days of the shipment date
We'll work with the carrier to locate your package or arrange a replacement.
Damaged on arrival?
- Take photos before opening the package
- Document any damage to the product after opening
- Email service@lighom.com with photos within 48 hours

Wrong address provided?
We do our best to accommodate address changes, but once an order ships we cannot redirect it.

Holiday & Peak Season Notice
Shipping times may be extended during:
- December 1 – January 5 (Christmas and New Year)
- Late January – early February (Chinese New Year — our fulfillment centers close for 7-10 days)
- Late November (Black Friday and Cyber Monday)
We recommend placing holiday orders at least 4 weeks in advance.

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

FAQs
Is it suitable for a nursery?
Rocking chairs earn their keep in nurseries - the motion settles babies and the chair outlives the crib years as a reading seat. Padded arms matter for night feeds; this one is upholstered where your elbows land.
How much clearance does rocking need?
Leave 12-18 inches behind the chair and a few inches in front of the runners' forward travel. Measure the chair's depth under Dimensions and add that margin against your wall.
Will the runners mark my floor?
On hardwood, place a low-pile rug under the rocker - runners concentrate weight along a thin line and will polish or mark bare wood over months of daily rocking. On carpet it needs nothing.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum weekly with a brush attachment and blot spills immediately with a dry white cloth; spot-clean with mild upholstery cleaner rather than soaking.
What if it arrives damaged?
Unbox and inspect it soon after delivery, and if any part is scratched, cracked, or missing, contact our support team right away with photos of the part and the packaging. We will make it right with replacement parts or a replacement unit.
