Handmade Wood Veneer Lantern Japanese Pendant Light

Hand-woven wood veneer wraps around an E27 socket in overlapping strips that soften the bulb without blocking it completely. The grain shows through when the light is on — you get texture, not a flat glow. This Japanese-style pendant works in bedrooms, over dining nooks, or clustered in threes above a bar counter.

The veneer is thin enough to let warm light through (3000K) but rigid enough to hold its lantern shape without sagging. Hardwired for 110V. Covers roughly 110–160 square feet depending on ceiling height and bulb wattage. You can swap the bulb yourself; standard E27 base.

Three sizes: a 9.8-inch cube at 2.2 lbs, a taller 9.8 x 15-inch cylinder at 6.6 lbs, or a wider 14.2 x 16.9-inch drum at 4.4 lbs. Pairs with wood furniture, tatami mats, or whitewashed walls. Hardwired installation; consult an electrician if you're replacing a different fixture type.
