Modern Curved Leather Oval Accent Chair for Living Room
Description
The oval backrest wraps around your shoulders like a cupped hand — not a hug, just enough containment to feel held without being pinned. This curved leather accent chair sits low and wide, with a 17.7-inch seat height that works for lounging more than formal dining. The sculpted metal frame keeps the footprint tight at 22 inches deep, so it tucks into bedroom corners or beside a living room window without blocking traffic.
Fraux leather seat in orange, gray, or gold wipes clean and develops a soft patina over time. The sponge-and-latex fill holds its shape better than foam alone — you won't bottom out after six months of nightly reading. Integrated arms curve inward to cradle a mug or book without jutting into walkways.
Ships fully assembled. Vacuum the leather monthly and rotate your position to prevent uneven wear on the seat. Works in bedrooms, reception areas, or as a standalone reading chair.

Note: Customer is responsible for customs duties and import taxes on Express shipments.
Standard vs. Express — Which Should You Choose?
Standard Shipping (Recommended for most customers)
- Free on every order
- No customs fees — duties and taxes pre-paid by Lighom
- 15-22 business days delivery (varies by region)
- Best for orders that aren't time-sensitive
- Predictable, all-inclusive pricing
Express Shipping (For urgent orders)
- 7-10 business days delivery
- Fee based on order value (see table above)
- Customer is responsible for customs duties and import taxes
- Charges are assessed by your local customs authority and paid upon delivery
Important for European Customers
If you choose Express Shipping to the UK, EU, or other European destinations, please be aware that customs duties and VAT can be substantial (often 20-25% of order value, plus handling fees).
For European orders, we strongly recommend Standard Shipping to avoid these charges. If you need faster delivery and decide to use Express, please factor in the additional customs costs when budgeting your purchase.
Questions about expected customs charges in your country? Email service@lighom.com before placing your order — we'll help you estimate.
Why Our Standard Shipping Takes Longer
We use a duty-paid logistics network to handle customs clearance on your behalf — which takes a few extra days but saves you 20-25% in import costs and protects you from unexpected fees.
For most home decor purchases (which aren't time-critical), this means:
- No surprise charges when your package arrives
- No customs paperwork or pickup fees
- Predictable, all-inclusive pricing
- Free delivery to all regions we serve
If you need your order quickly and accept the customs costs, Express Shipping is available at checkout.
Tips for Smooth Shipping
To make sure your Lighom order arrives without any issues, please follow these tips before and after placing your order.
Before You Order
Provide a complete shipping address. Include apartment, unit, or building number — incomplete addresses are the most common cause of delivery failure.
Use a valid mobile phone number. Many carriers (especially DHL, FedEx, and local couriers) require a working phone number for delivery notifications. Orders without a phone number may be delayed or returned.
Use an email you check regularly. We send tracking updates, customs notices, and delivery alerts via email. Missing these can cause delays.
Choose the right shipping method. Standard (free) is best for non-urgent orders with no customs fees. Express (paid) is for urgent orders where customs fees apply.
Check product dimensions. Lighom products vary widely in size. Check the dimensions on each product page to make sure the item fits your space and delivery doorway, staircase, or elevator.
During Shipping
Track your order regularly. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking link by email. Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear after dispatch.
Respond to carrier contact attempts. If the carrier emails or texts you, respond promptly. Missed delivery attempts can result in the package being returned to the sender — and additional reshipping fees.
Be available on delivery day. Larger items (chandeliers, floor lamps, furniture) may require a signature. If you can't be home, arrange for a neighbor to receive the package or designate a safe drop-off location with the carrier.
When Your Package Arrives
Inspect the package before opening. If you see any visible damage to the box, take photos immediately before opening. This is essential for damage claims.
Check the contents within 48 hours. Open carefully, check for any defects or missing parts, and contact us at service@lighom.com within 48 hours if you notice any issues.
Keep the original packaging. Save all original packaging materials for at least 30 days. You'll need them in case you decide to return the item or if we need to process a damage claim.
Test before installing lighting fixtures. Plug in or temporarily mount your light before final wiring to confirm size, brightness, and finish. Once installed, change-of-mind returns are no longer accepted.
Important Notes
- PO Boxes: Standard shipping only. Express shipping requires a physical street address.
- Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We currently cannot deliver to military addresses — please use a stateside or civilian address.
- Remote areas: Some destinations may require additional delivery time. We'll contact you if this affects your order.
- Incorrect address: Unsuccessful deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information cannot be refunded. Re-shipping fees may apply.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Standard Shipping = No Customs Fees
Our standard shipping is fully duty-paid. You will not pay any customs duties, taxes, or import fees when your package arrives. The price at checkout is the final price.
Express Shipping = Customs Fees Apply
If you choose Express Shipping, customs fees may apply based on your country:
- USA: orders under $800 typically arrive duty-free
- Canada: orders under CAD $20 (gift) or CAD $40 (personal) duty-free
- EU: VAT and duties apply, can be 20-25% of order value
- UK: VAT applies on orders over £135
- Australia: GST applies on orders over AUD $1,000
Charges are assessed by your local customs authority and paid upon delivery. These fees are separate from your Lighom order total.

Yes — contact service@lighom.com within 24 hours of ordering. We can upgrade you to Express Shipping if your order hasn't shipped yet (express fee applies).

Most carriers will leave a notice and attempt redelivery. You can also arrange a pickup at a nearby carrier facility using your tracking number.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship to over 40 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and select European countries. Enter your address at checkout to confirm we deliver to you.

How do I know my order has shipped?
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder.
Delivery Issues
Package not received after expected delivery date?
- Check tracking — sometimes the carrier marks "delivered" before the package physically arrives
- Check with neighbors and your local post office or customs office
- Wait 2-3 business days (most "missing" packages arrive in this window)
- If still missing, contact us at service@lighom.com within 30 days of the shipment date
We'll work with the carrier to locate your package or arrange a replacement.
Damaged on arrival?
- Take photos before opening the package
- Document any damage to the product after opening
- Email service@lighom.com with photos within 48 hours
- We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund per our Return Policy
Wrong address provided?
We do our best to accommodate address changes, but once an order ships we cannot redirect it.
- Contact us within 24 hours of placing the order — we'll update your address before shipment if possible
- If the package has shipped, you'll need to coordinate with the carrier directly
Pre-Order & Backorder Items
Some items may be marked Pre-Order or Backorder:
- Pre-Order: ships when the item arrives at our warehouse (estimated date shown on product page)
- Backorder: temporarily out of stock — we'll email you with an updated shipping estimate
Holiday & Peak Season Notice
Shipping times may be extended during:
- December 1 – January 5 (Christmas and New Year)
- Late January – early February (Chinese New Year — our fulfillment centers close for 7-10 days)
- Late November (Black Friday and Cyber Monday)
We recommend placing holiday orders at least 4 weeks in advance.
For shipping questions specific to your order, please include your order number in your message.
Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at service@lighom.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You can always contact us for any return question at service@lighom.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at service@lighom.com.
