Modern Round Leather Steel Bar Stool for Kitchen
Description
The low backrest keeps you upright through morning coffee without locking you in place. This round leather bar stool uses a gas-lift mechanism for height adjustment between 22.8 and 32.7 inches — high enough for 36-inch counters, low enough for standard 30-inch islands. Stainless steel base with a built-in footrest ring that doesn't wobble after six months of daily use.
Gray leather seat cushioned with foam sponge wipes clean when someone spills. The 16.5-inch round seat fits under most overhangs and swivels 360 degrees. Armless design slides all the way under the counter when you're done.

Tips for Smooth Shipping
To make sure your Lighom order arrives without any issues, please follow these tips before and after placing your order.
Before You Order
Provide a complete shipping address. Include apartment, unit, or building number — incomplete addresses are the most common cause of delivery failure.
Use a valid mobile phone number. Many carriers (especially DHL, FedEx, and local couriers) require a working phone number for delivery notifications. Orders without a phone number may be delayed or returned.
Use an email you check regularly. We send tracking updates, customs notices, and delivery alerts via email. Missing these can cause delays.
Choose the right shipping method. Standard (free) is best for non-urgent orders with no customs fees. Express (paid) is for urgent orders where customs fees apply.
Check product dimensions. Lighom products vary widely in size. Check the dimensions on each product page to make sure the item fits your space and delivery doorway, staircase, or elevator.
During Shipping
Track your order regularly. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking link by email. Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear after dispatch.
Respond to carrier contact attempts. If the carrier emails or texts you, respond promptly. Missed delivery attempts can result in the package being returned to the sender — and additional reshipping fees.
Be available on delivery day. Larger items (chandeliers, floor lamps, furniture) may require a signature. If you can't be home, arrange for a neighbor to receive the package or designate a safe drop-off location with the carrier.
When Your Package Arrives
Inspect the package before opening. If you see any visible damage to the box, take photos immediately before opening. This is essential for damage claims.
Check the contents within 48 hours. Open carefully, check for any defects or missing parts, and contact us at service@lighom.com within 48 hours if you notice any issues.
Keep the original packaging. Save all original packaging materials for at least 14 days. You'll need them in case you decide to return the item or if we need to process a damage claim.
Test before installing lighting fixtures. Plug in or temporarily mount your light before final wiring to confirm size, brightness, and finish. Once installed, change-of-mind returns are no longer accepted.
Important Notes
- PO Boxes: Standard shipping only. Express shipping requires a physical street address.
- Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We currently cannot deliver to military addresses — please use a stateside or civilian address.
- Remote areas: Some destinations may require additional delivery time. We'll contact you if this affects your order.
- Incorrect address: Unsuccessful deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information cannot be refunded. Re-shipping fees may apply.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

What if I'm not home when delivery arrives?
Most carriers will leave a notice and attempt redelivery. You can also arrange a pickup at a nearby carrier facility using your tracking number.

What if my package is lost in transit?

Delivery Issues
Package not received after expected delivery date?
- Check tracking — sometimes the carrier marks "delivered" before the package physically arrives
- Check with neighbors and your local post office or customs office
- Wait 2-3 business days (most "missing" packages arrive in this window)

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

FAQs
Counter height or bar height - which do I need?
Measure from floor to counter underside: 34-39 inch counters take counter stools (23-28 inch seats); 40-46 inch bars take bar stools (29-33 inch seats). Aim for 9-12 inches between seat and counter, and check this stool's seat height under Dimensions.
How many stools fit at my island?
Allow 26-30 inches per stool measured center to center so elbows never clash - a 6-foot island seats three comfortably. Swivel and armless designs can sit slightly closer.
Is there somewhere to rest my feet?
Yes - the built-in footrest takes the pressure off your legs during long counter sessions, which is what separates a stool you linger on from one you escape.
How do I clean the seat?
Wipe with a damp cloth and buff dry; condition the leather once or twice a year to keep it supple.
Will it scratch my kitchen floor?
Add felt pads (hardwood) or rubber pads (tile) before first use - stools get dragged more than any other seat in the house.
What if it wobbles on my floor?
First re-tighten all bolts - they settle after the first week. On slightly uneven tile, adjustable foot glides or a thin pad shim under one leg levels it.
