Description

This up-down sconce throws warm white light in two directions — a soft wash on the wall, a pool on the ground below. The die-cast aluminum body is sealed to IP65, so rain and snow won't short the COB LED inside. 8 watts at 3000K gives you enough light to see steps or find your keys without flooding the whole yard.

Black powder coat over aluminum won't flake or rust the way painted steel does after a winter outside. The 85-265V driver is hardwired, no plug. Works on porches, garden paths, or villa exteriors where you need 32–64 square feet of coverage per fixture.

Mounts to standard junction boxes. Wipe the lens with a damp cloth once a season to clear pollen and dust. Hardwired installation — hire an electrician if you're not comfortable with live wiring.

How high should I mount this on the wall?

About 60-66 inches from the floor to the fixture's center in hallways and living rooms. Flanking a bed, drop to 30-36 inches above the mattress so light falls on the page, not in your eyes.

Does it need to be hardwired?

Yes - it connects to an in-wall junction box. If the wall already has sconce wiring it is a quick swap; new wiring is an electrician job.

I'm buying a pair - how far apart should they go?

Flanking a mirror or headboard, set each sconce 36-40 inches from the center line. Along a hallway, one every 6-8 feet keeps the light even.

Does it shine up or down?

Both - the open top and bottom wash the wall with light in each direction, which adds depth without glare.

Can it work with my existing wall switch?
