Description

Solar-charged LED that sits under patio tables or along garden paths. The round black housing holds a 3000K warm-white bulb that clicks on at dusk and runs four to six hours on a full charge. Stainless steel and polycarbonate shell rated IP65 — rain and sprinkler-safe, though you'll want to bring it in before a freeze.

No wiring, no outlet hunting. The top panel soaks up sun during the day; the sandblasted finish hides fingerprints and pollen better than gloss black. Works in yards up to 107 square feet. Weighs between 8.8 and 17.6 lbs depending on height, so it won't tip in light wind.

Three size options: 16-inch-wide by 11 or 18 inches tall for low ambient light, or a taller 13-inch-wide by 28-inch column for walkway marking. Wipe the solar panel monthly to keep the charge strong.

It prefers a covered spot: bring cushions in and cover the frame through wet spells, and it will age gracefully instead of quickly.

What do I do with it over winter?

Store cushions indoors dry, and either cover frames with breathable furniture covers or move them under roof. What kills outdoor furniture is not cold - it is months of trapped moisture under a non-breathable tarp.

Will the color fade in the sun?

All outdoor materials weather - quality frames fade slowly and evenly rather than blotching. Rotate seating a couple of times a season and use covers during the harshest weeks to keep the change graceful.

Is it heavy enough for windy balconies?
