Scandinavian Fabric Wood Foldable Recliner
Description
This foldable recliner drops the backrest through five angles — upright for reading, half-recline for scrolling, flat for naps. The wood frame locks at each position with a simple pull-tab mechanism under the seat. Fabric upholstery in gray, yellow, beige, or brown over cotton fill that doesn't flatten out after a few months.
The 28-inch width fits through standard doorways. Folds flat to about 6 inches thick when you need it out of the way — slide it behind a door or under a bed. At 19.69 inches, the seat height works for most adults without a footstool, though the matching footrest (included) extends your legs fully.
Use it in a bedroom corner, next to a living room window, or as extra seating that doesn't live on the floor permanently. The wood legs sit stable on carpet or hardwood. Ships in one box with minimal assembly.

Tips for Smooth Shipping
To make sure your Lighom order arrives without any issues, please follow these tips before and after placing your order.
Before You Order
Provide a complete shipping address. Include apartment, unit, or building number — incomplete addresses are the most common cause of delivery failure.
Use a valid mobile phone number. Many carriers (especially DHL, FedEx, and local couriers) require a working phone number for delivery notifications. Orders without a phone number may be delayed or returned.
Use an email you check regularly. We send tracking updates, customs notices, and delivery alerts via email. Missing these can cause delays.
Choose the right shipping method. Standard (free) is best for non-urgent orders with no customs fees. Express (paid) is for urgent orders where customs fees apply.
Check product dimensions. Lighom products vary widely in size. Check the dimensions on each product page to make sure the item fits your space and delivery doorway, staircase, or elevator.
During Shipping
Track your order regularly. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking link by email. Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear after dispatch.
Respond to carrier contact attempts. If the carrier emails or texts you, respond promptly. Missed delivery attempts can result in the package being returned to the sender — and additional reshipping fees.
Be available on delivery day. Larger items (chandeliers, floor lamps, furniture) may require a signature. If you can't be home, arrange for a neighbor to receive the package or designate a safe drop-off location with the carrier.
When Your Package Arrives
Inspect the package before opening. If you see any visible damage to the box, take photos immediately before opening. This is essential for damage claims.
Check the contents within 48 hours. Open carefully, check for any defects or missing parts, and contact us at service@lighom.com within 48 hours if you notice any issues.
Keep the original packaging. Save all original packaging materials for at least 14 days. You'll need them in case you decide to return the item or if we need to process a damage claim.
Test before installing lighting fixtures. Plug in or temporarily mount your light before final wiring to confirm size, brightness, and finish. Once installed, change-of-mind returns are no longer accepted.
Important Notes
- PO Boxes: Standard shipping only. Express shipping requires a physical street address.
- Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We currently cannot deliver to military addresses — please use a stateside or civilian address.
- Remote areas: Some destinations may require additional delivery time. We'll contact you if this affects your order.
- Incorrect address: Unsuccessful deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information cannot be refunded. Re-shipping fees may apply.

Express Shipping = Customs Fees Apply

What if my package is lost in transit?

Delivery Issues
Package not received after expected delivery date?
- Check tracking — sometimes the carrier marks "delivered" before the package physically arrives

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

FAQs
How far from the wall does it need to sit?
Check the fully reclined depth under Dimensions against your available floor length - the backrest needs room to tilt. Wall-hugger designs need just a few inches behind; traditional mechanisms need up to a foot.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum weekly with a brush attachment and blot spills immediately with a dry white cloth; spot-clean with mild upholstery cleaner rather than soaking.
Can I sleep in it overnight?
It is designed for lounging and naps rather than nightly sleep - occasional overnights are fine, but your back will prefer a mattress for the long haul. For post-surgery recovery periods, a recliner can genuinely help with elevation.
What if the mechanism gets stiff or noisy?
A silicone spray on the pivot joints twice a year keeps the action smooth and silent. If it starts closing on its own, tighten the tension screws under the seat.
What if it arrives damaged?
Unbox and inspect it soon after delivery, and if any part is scratched, cracked, or missing, contact our support team right away with photos of the part and the packaging. We will make it right with replacement parts or a replacement unit.
Is it safe around small children?
Teach kids not to play under or beside the footrest - the closing mechanism is the one pinch point on any recliner. Close it fully when not in use, and power models should be operated by adults.
