The amber or clear glass dome sits in a brass collar that ages to a warmer patina over time — real copper, not plated steel. This semi-flush mount hugs the ceiling at 5.5 inches, so it works in hallways with low clearance or bedrooms where you don't want a pendant hanging in your sight line. One E26 socket takes LED, incandescent, or CFL bulbs up to your preferred brightness.
