Gray LED Solar Modern Deck Post Pillar Light
Description
This solar deck post light sits on 4x4 or 6x6 posts and charges all day to glow warm white (3000K) through dusk. The 5W LED pulls from a built-in solar panel with tempered-glass protection, so you skip the wiring and the electric bill. Stainless steel and polycarbonate housing holds up to rain and snow with IP65 waterproofing.
The gray finish reads neutral against wood or composite railings. At 11 inches wide and 6 inches tall, it caps standard deck posts without looking oversized. Lights up 54 to 161 square feet—enough for a stairway landing or corner of a patio. Color rendering above 80 keeps deck stain and plantings looking natural, not washed out.
Works on garden fence posts, driveway pillars, or anywhere you want hands-free lighting after sunset. No outlet required. Wipe the solar panel once a month to keep the charge strong.

FAQs
Can it stay outside year-round?
Yes - it is rated for direct exposure to rain and snow; just check fittings stay tight each season.
Does solar still work in winter and cloudy weather?
Yes, with reduced runtime - shorter days and cloud cover mean a partial charge, so expect dimmer or shorter output in deep winter. Keep the panel clear of snow and angled toward open sky for the best results.
How far apart should path or landscape lights go?
Six to eight feet apart, alternating sides of the path, gives pools of light with dark rhythm between - even spacing in a straight line reads like a runway. Uplight a tree or wall every few fixtures for depth.
Will it attract bugs?
Choose warm color temperatures - 2700-3000K attracts noticeably fewer insects than cool white light. Position fixtures a few feet from doorways so what bugs do come are not gathering at the threshold.
How do I maintain it?
Wipe the lens and housing each season - grime cuts light output more than people expect - and check that gaskets and mounting screws are snug before winter. Solar panels want a wipe monthly for full charge.
Is it suitable near the coast?
Salt air is the hardest test for outdoor fixtures: stainless steel. pc construction resists it well, and a fresh-water rinse every few weeks extends the finish further.
