Retro Pleated Column Table Lamp
Description
The pleated metal column catches light differently as you move past it — vertical ridges that add texture without taking up counter space. This retro table lamp stands 17 inches tall with a 7.8-inch footprint, small enough for a nightstand or narrow console but substantial enough to anchor a reading corner.
Metal body in black, white, or coffee brown with a KD shade that diffuses the bulb glow. Takes E12 candelabra-base bulbs (not included) — pair it with a warm LED for bedtime reading or a brighter incandescent for task lighting. Plug-in cord works with standard 110V outlets.
Fits bedside tables, study desks, or living room side tables where you need focused light without overhead glare. Dry locations only.

Is this bright enough for reading?
For reading, position the bottom of the shade at or just below seated eye level and use an 800+ lumen bulb (60W equivalent). Placed beside a chair arm, it covers a typical reading nook comfortably.
Where does this lamp work best?
On side tables at seated shoulder height, nightstands, or consoles - anywhere you want light without ceiling wiring.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
It takes E12 bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately. We recommend warm white (2700-3000K) LEDs for living spaces.
What size lamp suits my table or sofa?
On a side table, the lamp plus table should land near seated eye level - about 58-64 inches from the floor - and the shade should not overhang the table edge.
Is it compatible with US electrical systems?
Yes - this lamp is built to US spec (110V-120V, 220V-240V) and uses standard US wiring and bases. No converter or adapter is needed.
Is it stable around kids and pets?
Place it with the base fully on the floor or table and route the cord along the wall so it cannot be snagged in passing.
